A meeting in Sana’a discussed on Monday the technical cooperation mechanism between the Yemeni Standards, Metrology , Quality Control Organization and the Commerce and Industry Chamber in Sana’a.
The meeting, chaired by the Executive Director of the Yemeni Standards, Metrology and Quality Control Organization, Sam Al-Bashiri, and attended by the Vice President of the Commerce and Industry Chamber in Sana’a, Mohammed Salah, reviewed ways to address the issues facing the private sector , importers, and facilitate procedures for them.
At the meeting, Al Bashiri noted that the Authority has developed and modernized its electronic systems in order to address the issues facing traders.
He emphasized the Authority’s readiness to launch the “Matching” platform, through which all procedures related to receiving samples, inspection, testing and release will be recorded and followed up, thus contributing to saving time and effort for the commercial sector.
