In a meeting at the Red Sea Ports Corporation in Hodeida, the Ministers of Finance and Economy reviewed on Thursday operational progress at Hodeida Port, focusing on improving infrastructure and coordination to boost export opportunities, particularly in agriculture.

Ministers of Finance Abduljabbar Mohammed and Economy Moein al-Mahaqeri visited Hodeida Port to assess ongoing work and discuss strategies for enhancing the port’s efficiency.

The meeting included key stakeholders, emphasizing the need for improved coordination among various offices to streamline customs procedures and support export capabilities.

The ministers outlined plans for urgent development projects aimed at increasing the port’s capacity, addressing delays in goods clearance, and leveraging a new investment law to attract local and foreign investment.
