The Greater Amman Municipality celebrated the efforts of 100 local volunteers from the “Nahno” platform by distributing free Bus Rapid Transit (BRT) cards on Monday.
Ghaida Hadid, Director of the Department of Facilities and Social Programs, and Hakam Omari from Nahno presented the cards, acknowledging the volunteers’ significant involvement in community events across the capital.
Hadid highlighted the municipality’s pride in honoring these young volunteers, underscoring her pride in their hard work and commitment to serving the local community. She said that this gesture is “our way of showing appreciation and encouraging continued volunteerism.”
She also emphasized the positive impact of volunteer work, noting how it benefits both the community and the individuals involved. Hadid pointed out the numerous municipality-backed social initiatives that aim to reach various community segments throughout Amman.

ilitate the volunteers’ participation in future events. He underscored the importance of the partnership with the municipality, which has been crucial in implementing successful volunteer initiatives across the capital.
