The governor of Aden, Tariq Salam, warned of the seriousness of the policy of starvation and oppression practiced by the occupation and its tools against citizens in Aden and the occupied provinces.
Governor Salam explained in a statement to the Yemeni News Agency (Saba) that the occupier and his mercenaries are practicing a criminal policy aimed at impoverishing and starving the citizen by creating crises and doses that have exacerbated the state of collapse in the province as a result of the corruption of the occupier and his tools and their targeting of Yemen’s economy and currency.
He confirmed that the collapse of the economic and humanitarian situation in Aden province and the complete absence of services were the result of mercenaries’ corruption, looting of sovereign wealth and huge revenues from hard currency, and diverting them out of the country in order to feed their bank accounts at a time when citizens were being deprived of the most basic rights.
The Governor of Aden stressed the need for firm positions by societal components and anti-occupation political forces to thwart his criminal conspiracies and practices, enabling citizens to regain their rights to live freely and with dignity.
