Ibb University on Monday kicked off a chanting competition to celebrate the birthday of Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him).
Organized by the General Administration of Student Activities and Youth Care and the University Student Forum, the event featured 20 participants from various university colleges and centers.
Vice Rector for Student Affairs Dr. Ahmed Abu Lahoum emphasized the value of such activities in developing students’ talents and fostering positive competition.
Abu Luhoum highlighted the university’s commitment to creating an environment that encourages creativity and self-expression.
Director of Activities and Youth Care Sadiq Wajih al-Din encouraged student participation in this and other Prophet’s birthday events, including competitions in Quran recitation, poetry, drawing, and more.
Wajih al-Din noted that these activities provide a platform for showcasing talents and promoting Islamic values.
