The International Parliament for Tolerance and Peace has unanimously condemned the Houthi terrorist attacks on civilian areas and facilities in the UAE.
During its eighth session held at the headquarters of the Assembly of the Union of the Comoros, which was attended by Azali Assoumani, President of the Comoros, and Moustadroine Abdou, Speaker of the Assembly of the Union of the Comoros, members of the parliament issued a statement condemning the attacks of the Houthi militias on civilian facilities in the UAE, and called on the international community to intervene immediately to counter such terrorist groups and the threat they pose to international peace and security.
The participating countries expressed their support for the UAE and its right to defend its security and stability.
Representatives from Bosnia and Herzegovina, the Comoros, Egypt, Ethiopia, Gabon, Gambia, Maldives, Mozambique, Nepal, Nigeria, North Macedonia, Seychelles, Uganda, Congo and Croatia took part in the meeting.
