Jordan Ambassador to Iraq meets Iraqi PM, discusses ties

Jordan’s Ambassador to Iraq, Maher Tarawneh, met on Monday with Iraqi Prime Minister Mohammed Shi’a Al-Sudani on bilateral ties and ways to develop them.

According to a statement by the Iraqi Prime Minister’s media office, the meeting discussed the coordination of Arab and Islamic positions to stop the ongoing Israeli aggression against Lebanon and the Gaza Strip, due to its dangerous repercussions that threaten the security and stability of the region and the world.

The meeting also covered the importance of bilateral relations and ways to develop them and expand the horizons of cooperation and fruitful partnerships in various fields, in order to achieve mutual benefit for the peoples of the two countries.
