The Madinah Palm Marathon launched today under the theme “Through the Palm Trees” as part of the Madinah Dates Season. Over 1,900 participants took part in the 10-kilometer race, which began at the Madinah National Park and passed through the Khalil farms.
The marathon featured three routes, one of which was specifically designed for individuals with disabilities. The race stages were named after renowned local date varieties, including Anbarah, Ajwa, Berni, Saqai, and Majdool.
The event was attended by several volunteer groups and government entities. A total of SAR 30,000 in prizes were awarded to the top three finishers in each category.
