Mansour bin Zayed Reviews Strategic Plans for 2026 Emirates Agriculture Conference

Abu dhabi: His Highness Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Vice President, Deputy Prime Minister and Chairman of the Presidential Court, has reviewed the strategic plans for the upcoming "Emirates Agriculture Conference and Exhibition 2026" set to be held at ADNEC Centre Al Ain in April 2026. H.H. Sheikh Mansour emphasized the need to enhance the event to support Emirati farmers, foster partnerships with academia and the private sector, and empower youth, aligning with the leadership's vision for a sustainable national food system.

According to Emirates News Agency, Dr. Amna bint Abdullah Al Dahak, Minister of Climate Change and Environment, presented the briefing in the presence of ministry officials. She highlighted the achievements of the 2025 inaugural edition and outlined the expanded plans for 2026. The first edition, under Sheikh Mansour's patronage, positioned itself as the UAE's leading platform for empowering farmers and promoting agricultural innovation. It attracted over 10,000 visitors, 100 Emirati farmers, and 64 private and start-up companies.

Dr. Al Dahak noted the selection of ADNEC Centre Al Ain as the continued venue underscores the city's status as a key agricultural hub. The venue offers extensive indoor and outdoor space and is conveniently located near over 11,000 farms and major agricultural entities. The 2026 edition aims to double the achievements of its predecessor by expanding farmer participation, increasing visitor numbers, and enhancing private sector involvement in agriculture and food industries.

The event will feature major enhancements, fostering partnerships with research, academic, and commercial institutions to support Emirati farmers and accelerate agricultural innovation. It will also introduce new participant categories, such as livestock owners, and new outdoor community activities, while expanding student engagement.

The structure of the 2026 event will be built around key pillars, including a knowledge conference, farmers' market, agricultural exhibition, and several pavilions dedicated to community, youth, and international participants. A major development is the introduction of five "specialised tracks," each offering tailored experiences for various stakeholders, including farmers, educators, community members, entrepreneurs, and international participants.
