The Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, Hussein Hazeb, on Saturday inspected the level of job discipline in a number of public administrations of the Ministry’s General Office and its affiliated institutions on the first official day after the Eid al-Adha holiday.
The Minister of Higher Education, together with Deputy Minister Dr. Ali Sharafuddin and the Undersecretaries of the Ministry, briefed on the progress of work and the commitment of employees to the official day following the Eid al-Adha holiday, using the Director of Human Resources to explain the attendance rate on the first day following the Eid al-Adha holiday, which was 93 per cent.
He also briefed the Minister of Higher Education and his Deputy and Undersecretaries at the level of functional discipline at the Information Technology Center, listening to the Director of the Center Dr. Fouad Hassan Abdel Razak to explain the level of discipline of employees on the first official day after the 95 percent holiday.
Hazeb, Sharafuddin and the Ministry’s leaders also inspected the level of job discipline in the Academic Accreditation Council and the commitment of employees on the first official day following the holiday, listening to the Chairman of the Council Dr. Ahmed Al-Huboub to explain about the 92 per cent official working time.
The Minister of Higher Education commended the keenness of the Ministry’s staff, the Information Technology Centre and the Academic Accreditation Council to fulfil their national duty, commit them to official working on the first day of the day after the holiday and assume their responsibility to streamline procedures and provide services to citizens.
Hazeb noted that continuing to perform the job duty was one of the resilience in the face of aggression that had sought to disrupt State institutions, stressing the need for concerted efforts and improved work to improve the level of administrative and academic performance.
