Member of the Supreme Political Council, Muhammad Ali Al-Houthi, reiterated that what the Yemeni armed forces are doing in the Red Sea is in order to stop the criminal terrorist Israeli aggression and lift the siege on Gaza.
The senior political member said on the ‘X’ platform: ‘Those Americans, Britons or others who stand in the way of our ban on Israeli ships or those heading to the occupied ports in Palestine are doing so in implementation of the Israeli request and to protect them so that this entity will continue to commit racist genocide in Gaza.’
He added, “This position of theirs is a position to reinforce crime and terrorism against two million and three hundred thousand people in Gaza at the same time.”
The supreme political member called on the ministries of transport in all countries of the world and the international shipping companies transporting through the Red Sea, the Arabian Sea, and those passing through Bab al-Mandab, to announce to every ship the following introductory sentence, ‘We
have no relationship with Israel’ when crossing the Red Sea, Bab al-Mandab, or the Arabian Sea. He said, “This is an easy step that protects you from blackmailing America and Britain and the costs of shipping insurance.”
He pointed out that this is a simple and inexpensive solution and will not incur financial costs for any company, indicating that this step does not require militarizing the Red Sea and will not harm international navigation.
Muhammad Ali Al-Houthi pointed out that this step strengthens the confidence of the Yemeni armed forces that these ships operate clearly and transparently, and prevents the American and its allies from exploiting the sea and militarizing it and disturbing its tranquility.
He continued, “With this step, ships continue to sail safely without any obstacles, and avoid the trouble of turning around the Cape of Good Hope. It is an easy and inexpensive step.”
He also sent a message to the Yemeni Ministry of Defense, saying: ‘If ships publicize this sentence and then deceive
themselves and head to the occupied Palestinian ports to supply the Zionist entity, then put them on the blacklist, and they will fall into your hands when they cross the next time.’
