National Football Team to Face Oman in World Cup Qualifiers on Tuesday

The national football team is set to meet Oman in a crucial World Cup qualifying match on Tuesday at 7 p.m. in Amman International Stadium. This fixture forms part of the fourth round in the final stage of the 2026 World Cup qualifiers.

The team aims to secure a win following last Thursday’s defeat to South Korea.

Currently, the national team ranks third in Group B with 4 points, trailing South Korea and Iraq, who are tied with 7 points each. Oman, meanwhile, holds fourth place with 3 points.

Today, the team will hold its final training session at Amman Stadium, focusing on refining the lineup. The national team will be without key player Mousa Al-Tamari, who is departing for France to continue his rehabilitation with Montpellier.
