NIDLP and Newlab Launch Logistics Innovation Studio at the Global Logistics Forum

The National Industrial Development and Logistics Program (NIDLP) and Newlab signed a cooperation agreement to launch the Logistics Innovation Studio on the sidelines of the first edition of the Global Logistics Forum held in Riyadh.

The agreement includes the Ministry of Transport and Logistic Services, the Transport General Authority (TGA), the Research, Development, and Innovation Authority (RDIA), the Saudi Ports Authority (Mawani), King Abdullah University of Science and Technology (KAUST), NIDLP, the Ports Development Company (King Abdullah Port), and Newlab.

The studio aims to accelerate the development of solutions to address strategic challenges in the logistics sector by utilizing advanced technology, promoting innovation, enhancing efficiency and environmental sustainability, and facilitating collaboration between innovators worldwide and the Kingdom’s transport and logistics ecosystem.

The Logistics Innovation Studio will contribute to fostering the innovation and entrepreneurship environment i
n the Kingdom.

It will also facilitate practical trials to accelerate the adoption of advanced technologies, enabling entrepreneurs and innovators to market their solutions locally and globally.
