Jerusalem – Ma’an – The US Department of Defense – the Pentagon – said that the martyrdom of Hamas leader Yahya Sinwar represents an opportunity to reach a ceasefire in Gaza and release all prisoners.
He added, “We were not involved in the Israeli operation that led to the martyrdom of Sinwar.”
“We would like to see a ceasefire in Gaza as soon as possible,” he said.
