The Prime Minister, Ahmed Ghaleb Al-Rahwi, met on Monday with the head of the State Legal Office, Dr. Ismail Mohammed Al-Mahakri, on the office activities and the most prominent tasks in front of it.
Dr. Al-Mahakri reviewed the office’s legal nature and rehabilitative tasks, which include acting on behalf of the state in all state cases and all its legal entities, as well as providing legal advice to all central and local public service units and the public and mixed sector.
He explained that in addition to these tasks, the office reviews and drafts draft legislation prepared by all public units of the state, while conducting a field survey and evaluating the performance level in implementing laws, regulations and systems.
Dr. Al-Mahakri pointed out the direct responsibility of the office for all legal departments in all administrative units and the path of qualification, training and development of the capabilities of legal cadres in all units, in addition to conducting legal studies and research for vari
ous branches of law, in addition to documenting and preserving the originals of issued legislation and documents to which the state is a party and other tasks.
The Prime Minister stressed the importance of the vital role of the office in the path of legal reforms, noting that the office will receive the necessary support and assistance to carry out its tasks as required.. wishing the head of the office success in his work and achieving the original role of the office in various legal aspects of the state.
