Prince Sultan bin Salman: National Heritage Will Be the Biggest Driver of the Economy Under Vision 2030

Special Advisor to the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques and Founder and Chairman of the Board of Trustees of the non-profit Heritage Foundation Prince Sultan bin Salman bin Abdulaziz on Friday opened the foundation’s annual meeting, held under the theme “Confident Steps Toward the Future” at the Riyadh International Book Fair (RIBF) Theater.

A documentary film about the journey of the non-profit Heritage Foundation, highlighting the most important milestones in more than a quarter of a century and its most important initiatives was screened at the very beginning the meeting.

Another film showed the launch, at King Abdulaziz Center for World Culture (Ithra) in Dhahran, of the book “King Salman”, an Heritage Foundation initiative sponsored by Saudi Aramco, to coincide with the 94th National Day.

Prince Sultan said that RIBF is testament to the attention the Kingdom gives culture and national heritage, which will become the biggest drivers of the economy.

es in the life of Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud with the founding King Abdulaziz and the other kings of the Kingdom, is a gift to the nation.

Prince Sultan also said that the Heritage Foundation has been witnessing continuous development since its establishment, 28 years ago, and achieved a lot, in term of printing books, carrying out research, archiving historical photos, and contributing to documenting the nation’s history over the course of more than a quarter of a century.

Prince Sultan also talked about the documentary film “Okath Al-Badr”, produced entirely with a new vision by the Heritage Foundation.

The film documents rare moments and stories of Prince Badr bin Abdul Mohsen bin Abdulaziz.

The meeting was attended by several princes, officials, and ambassadors to the Kingdom.
