According to Emirates News Agency, during a telephone conversation, the leaders reviewed cooperative relations between Qatar and Pakistan, exploring avenues to support and enhance these ties. The discussion also included an examination of recent regional developments and Pakistan's efforts in mediation to de-escalate tensions, contributing to regional security and stability.
Al Thani conveyed Qatar's satisfaction with the progress achieved in ongoing negotiations. He acknowledged Pakistan's mediation announcement regarding the completion of a final text for a peace agreement and expressed optimism for its signing by both the American and Iranian parties.
Additionally, he emphasized Qatar's full support for Pakistan's mediation efforts aimed at resolving the crisis through peaceful means.
