Doha: Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman bin Jassim Al Thani, Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs of Qatar, engaged in dialogue with Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif, the Prime Minister of Pakistan, focusing on the latest regional developments.

According to Emirates News Agency, during a telephone conversation, the leaders reviewed cooperative relations between Qatar and Pakistan, exploring avenues to support and enhance these ties. The discussion also included an examination of recent regional developments and Pakistan's efforts in mediation to de-escalate tensions, contributing to regional security and stability.

Al Thani conveyed Qatar's satisfaction with the progress achieved in ongoing negotiations. He acknowledged Pakistan's mediation announcement regarding the completion of a final text for a peace agreement and expressed optimism for its signing by both the American and Iranian parties.

Additionally, he emphasized Qatar's full support for Pakistan's mediation efforts aimed at resolving the crisis through peaceful means. He highlighted the importance of all involved parties responding to these efforts to foster conditions conducive to a comprehensive agreement that ensures sustainable peace in the region.
