The general index of Qatar Stock Exchange (QSE) rose 5.65 points, or 0.05%, at the beginning of Mondays trading, to reach a level of 10,590 points, compared to yesterday’s closing.
QSE was supported by a rise in five sectors: Consumer Goods and Services by 0.23%; Industrials by 0.22%; Banks and Financial Services by 0.09%; Telecoms by 0.07%; and Insurance by 0.03%. On the other hand, the index saw a decline in Transportation by 0.08%; and Real Estate by 0.57%.
By 10:00 am, 39.193 million shares were traded in 2,764 transactions valued QR 79.966 million.
