Saif bin Zayed attends closing of ‘Arab Gulf Security 3’ Exercise in Saudi Arabia

H.H. Lt. General Sheikh Saif bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of the Interior of the UAE, attended the closing of the “Arab Gulf Security 3” Exercise held in the Eastern Province of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.

Participants in the exercise implemented security scenarios in detail, which has proven the success of this joint GCC mobilisation exercise in enhancing cooperation between the member countries in areas of security, as well as increasing the level of coordination, readiness, and preparedness among security forces.

Saif bin Zayed congratulated the participants, saluted them and showed appreciation for the efforts and coordination in fostering joint GCC work to ensure the security and stability of the members, and protect the region in line with the vision of their Majesties and Highnesses the leaders of the council.

He further indicated that the excellent demonstration and performance of the GCC police forces are a clear indication of their readiness to face any challenge or emergency.

Sheikh Saif arrived Sunday at the King Abdulaziz Airbase in Dhahran, where he was received by HRH Prince Abdul-Aziz bin Saud bin Naif bin Abdul-Aziz, Saudi Minister of Interior and several high-ranking officials.
