According to Qatar News Agency, Saudi Arabia secured their spot in the final after a 2-0 win against the UAE in the semi-final, having previously topped Group A with 7 points. On the other hand, the Iraqi team reached the final by defeating host Qatar 7-6 on penalties in the semi-final, following a 1-1 draw in regulation time. Iraq had previously maintained a perfect record in Group B with 6 points.
