Saudi Falcons Club, Quality of Life Program Executives Sign Memorandum to Support Falconry


Saudi Falcons Club CEO Talal AlShamaisi and Quality of Life Program CEO Khalid AlBaker signed a memorandum of cooperation yesterday to support falconry and establish amateur clubs through the national portal for hobbies, Hawi.

The signing ceremony took place on the sidelines of the International Saudi Falcons and Hunting Exhibition, held in Riyadh.

The memorandum boosts cooperation between the two parties, specifically in marketing and communication activities. It will support amateurs wishing to establish their own falconry clubs and manufacture supplies on the Hawi platform. It will also enable the two parties to exchange experience and knowledge on issues of common interest, and to cooperate in order to spread falconry and boost the cultural and recreational vitality of the community.

Hawi is one of the Quality of Life Program initiatives, tailored to stimulate the hobbies sector in the Kingdom by establishing clubs dedicated to hobbyists and creating a supporting environment for these clubs.

ides a variety of services with the aim of building a vibrant community that encourages hobbies among members of the society, seeks to encourage individuals to develop personal interests, and facilitates communication among people with common interests, to create a healthy and fruitful lifestyle for all.

The memorandum comes within the framework of the club’s goals to increase the number of falconry practitioners, enhance the sustainability of the Kingdom’s cultural heritage, instill environmental concepts, and support the Kingdom’s drive to become a global destination for falcons and falconers.
