Minister of Industry and Mineral Resources Bandar Ibrahim Alkhorayef discussed ways to enhance cooperation in human resource development and automation during a meeting in Singapore with officials from the Singapore Manufacturing Federation (SMF) and several Singaporean officials and companies.
Alkhorayef participated in the Business Roundtable organized by the SMF, the largest organization representing the interests of Singapore’s manufacturing industries.
During the meeting, Alkhorayef emphasized the Kingdom’s shift from relying on expatriate workers to automation and investing in human resources. He expressed the Ministry’s desire to cooperate with the SMF’s Academy in providing training courses for workers in the industrial sector.
The Minister also reviewed the investment opportunities available in Saudi Arabia and the competitive advantages the country enjoys, such as its strategic location, energy prices, advanced infrastructure, and the availability of raw materials. He highlighted the significa
nt potential for investment in the logistic sector.
