– Minister of Industry and Mineral Resources Bandar bin Ibrahim Alkhorayef engaged in discussions with several prominent Singaporean companies today, focusing on enhancing cooperation in logistic services, engineering technology, and the development of industrial zones. The meetings also aimed to explore potential investment opportunities in Saudi Arabia.
Alkhorayef met with executives from the DHL Asia Pacific Innovation Center to discuss collaboration in logistic services. He also held talks with Singapore Technologies Engineering Ltd. (ST Engineering) on investment prospects in key industrial sectors and with JTC Corporation regarding the development of industrial zones and infrastructure within the Kingdom.
During the meetings, Alkhorayef highlighted the promising investment opportunities Saudi Arabia offers across various industrial and logistic sectors. He emphasized the Kingdom’s strategic location, which serves as a gateway linking three continents, and underscored the incentives and capabilities
available to investors. The Minister also reaffirmed Saudi Arabia’s commitment to strengthening international partnerships and attracting foreign investments, particularly in the industrial and technological sectors.
These meetings are part of Minister Alkhorayef’s official visit to Singapore, which is included in a broader economic tour of East Asia that also covers China. The tour aims to bolster bilateral ties, attract high-quality investments to Saudi Arabia, and explore mutual investment opportunities in the industrial sector.
