Kuwait city: The price of Kuwaiti oil increased by 34 cents, reaching US$71.67 per barrel on Tuesday, as reported by the Kuwait Petroleum Corporation on Wednesday. This marks a rise from the previous day’s price of US$71.33 per barrel. According to Emirates News Agency, the global market saw a decline in the prices of Brent Crude and West Texas Intermediate. Petropavlovsk-kamchatsky: An earthquake measuring 6.2 on the Richter scale struck off the eastern coast of Russia’s Kamchatka Peninsula on Thursday. According to Emirates News Agency, the Kamchatka branch of the Geophysical Service of the Russian Academy of Sciences reported that the earthquake’s epicenter was at a depth of 66.8 km and occurred 276 km from the city of Petropavlovsk-Kamchatsky.
